Meet Amanda

The Right Match for Minnesota

I am a native Midwesterner having grown up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  I attended Cedar Rapids public schools including Washington High School, a blue-ribbon school for excellence.  I graduated from Iowa State University with a double major in Marketing and International Business.  This included a semester abroad in Northern Greece which spurred my love for travel.

I graduated from Michigan State University College of Law with honors in 2011 and moved to Minnesota the same year.  My sister, Danielle, graduated from the University of Minnesota and after extolling the virtues of Minnesota for many years, I joined her immediately after law school and have been here since.

I have worked at many of the best companies representing Minnesota including Thomson Reuters, Davisco Foods International, and Fairview Health Services.  I currently serve as Associate General Counsel for Infor (previously Lawson), in downtown St. Paul.  I get to see everyday how technology can shape healthcare with a focus on keeping costs low and data safe.

I am very close to my family all of whom live in Blaine.  This includes my two nephews, Isaac and Jacob who have inspired me to run.  I have lived in many areas on the Twin Cities including Plymouth, Eagan, St. Louis Park, Shakopee, and Mounds View.  However, when it came time to buy and make my home, Blaine was the place for me.  I am committed to advocating for quality infrastructure as Blaine continues to grow.  I have absolutely fallen in love with Minnesota and I am running to ensure Blaine is a safe, diverse, and economically sound place for your family and my nephews to grow.

I look forward to giving back to my 37(b) family and representing all Minnesotans!
